Some paintings come together easily.  Some do not.  This one painted itself.  I do not know how that happens or why, but when it does, I thank the Lord, especially if it is a commission.  I always get a little worried meeting new folks of whom I am going to paint.  As soon as I met up with her, Lindsey made it easy.  She talked to me unabridged, not as someone her age would with an older adult.  I like to talk to my subjects as I work with them.  Easy again.  Her posing came effortless, comfortable.  Even the autumn background was natural, pleasant and peaceful.
