Whenever I get the opportunity to paint people of other ethnic groups, I am thrilled.  The warm colors on this guy’s skin and the eyelashes were so beautiful to me.  If I had no inhibitions in this life and no language barriers, I would ask all kinds of people to sit for me.  I have been places where I have to restrain myself because I just want to stare at some people. We are all stamped with His unique artist touch and I appreciate God’s handiwork.  I can’t duplicate it, but I can marvel and hope it shines through in my work.
